A pretty average guy with his tail being the only thing that bears something somewhat unique, Cain was often overlooked, overshadowed by the people around him, especially his brothers.
Growing up he tried to be different- attention catching by thievery, his skills, his attitude. There was always a struggle to be better- to improve, to perfect his trade and to finally be noticed. Once, he thought emotion was only a hindrance and tried to shut it off- to no avail. He doesn't like having a rival and would continually refine his array of skills just to surpass whoever it was, to reclaim the spotlight once again. Stealthy and cunning he soon earned a reputation as one of the best assassins, killing anyone the higher ups ordered him to. Yet during the silence and the lull between busy days he often reflects on the actions he's done and the lives he damaged by the deeds. Cain tries to amend it in some ways, like a flower on the graves and a little dolly for the child, depends on how deep the hurt was. Then business picks up again and it's all forgotten until the next blue moon.
It's an endless cycle.
