A Veneris is either 'Positive', 'Negative' or 'Interchangeable'
Has their 'theme' tattooed below their eyes or another part of their body. These tattoos change into the color of their partner's eye color when found. Often partial or full heterochromia also occurs between paired Venerae. One partner only, unless one of them dies. Sometimes, 'complete' Venerae are born. They do not need a partner to become stable and can choose anyone, although these Venerae are usually loners/anti-social. Very rare. 'Undefined' Venerae also exist, but like 'Complete' Venerae are very rare. They posses either negative or positive characteristics of more than one 'theme'. When their partner dies, they start to lose color/life starting from their tattoos. These areas are numb to everything, while the rest of their body turns hypersensitive to everything else, especially pain. Can be reversed by finding another partner. They do not necessarily need to find their exact opposite, although their relationship would work better if they did. Any Positive and Negative (or if one is Interchangable) pair would work just fine. Their personality depends on his/her theme. Often a mix of two or more kemonomimis. No gender barrier. Once Venerae have been paired, they form a 'mind link' with each other. They can both see into each other's memory (past & present), feel what the other feels (physical & mental), engage in telepathy among other things. They can have either a more humanoid or anthro body type. The more humanoid Venerae tends to blend in with humans occasionally, making surrounding humans feel a certain reaction to their theme. Generally, the flashier/more primal they are, the stronger their influence is. However, this is not always the case. 'Inversion' is a sickness, something akin to Schizophrenia and Multiple Personality Disorder. It occurs when Venerae of the related 'themes' gather together in large groups. An overload will occur and the 'runt' will become the opposite of whatever he/she is to try and balance things.
